Bad Nerds

Although I've long since completed my formal education, early fall still brings out back-to-school memories - crunching leaves walking through university lawns and arches, bundling up while studying in gothic stone buildings, and conspiring long into the night with new friends (and friends-with-benefits). It's a zany rush, like the world is opening up to you all at once.

In that spirit, “Bad Nerds” is a light hearted tribute to the important, intimate education received outside of the classroom. It's about discovering an electric connection for the first time.

I worked again with Josh Wilson (Spotify: Ohmyjo5H) on drums and bass, as well as new collaborator Bryan Wolf on guitar. Bryan and I met working in the studio as session players on fellow Montgomery County, Maryland songwriter Robert Schilling's album: Ashton Odyssey.  

Bryan and Josh have been a great team, and I'm excited to share more soon in the future from this particular trio.
